outfit after the big pee!This afternoon Joe and I went to the visit the Papa family and their new baby who came into this world Thursday, May 8th. He weighed 8 lbs 11ozs, one more oz than Katelyn Grace who will be two on July 23rd. Ryan was very quiet and pretty much slept and hung out. Apparently changing the diaper is much more involved with a little boy than with a little girl. During his change, he decided to pee, and mom was ready with a washcloth over him. But...the washcloth moved when Ryan kicked his leg. He peed not only on the new diaper underneath him but all over the outfit he was wearing!
Katie was very active while we were there. She is now talking and saying words, right now her favorite is "Hi". She said hi to me about 20 times while we were there! Katie seems to be very aware that the attention isn't always on her anymore so when Tracy is feeding Ryan or changing Ryan, Katie feels the need to be "naughty" and climb on the couch, get into things she's not supposed to, or cry out for attention. Tracy can definitely see that two kids is much more work than just one! She says the infant thing is easy compared to dealing with Katie and Ryan at the same time!
Katie stole the show today by doing a little dance and shaking her hips. She was absolutely adorable! What a cute little dumpling! She also gave me hi fives and when I left she gave me a hug. I was very lucky, apparently she doesn't always hug!
